Rakesh Wadhwa:

How should leaders communicate with their employees who may be getting solely impacted because of pay cuts or possible, job losses and so on and so forth. And how should those companies communicate with customers knowing that the customers are going to be highly risk averse and conservative with their spending?

Ajai Chowdhry:

As far as their own people are concerned, they are the most important people. Because if you can make sure that your, internal people are totally comfortable, they will go there and get business for you. If your internal people are not convinced, you're not going to be successful. So that's why I said, communicate, communicate, communicate. I would feel that you should have regular meetings with all your people pretty much every day till you actually get to a stage when they're really appreciate and understand this environment. And I think this communication exercise needs to be done right down to the last level in the organization. And that is what will get them going back again. And the new normal is, working in different locations, working from everywhere. And therefore you need to accept that and create strategies by which you can actually overcome the shortcomings .
