Mumbai, March 07, 2023 : Over the years, Future Generali India Life Insurance Company has taken continuous measures to become a more diverse and inclusive workplace. Staying true to this approach, the company launched SHE Leads – an initiative aimed to empower the women employees of the company. The objective of the program was to establish a culture of uplifting each other so that it encourages cross-functional learning, to build an ‘outside-in’ perspective.

Impacting over 150 women across the board, She Leads has completed its second season at Future Generali India Life Insurance Company. In this 6-week program, all the participants had picked up at least one good practice for themselves that helped them become more mindful, composed, and aware while facing a challenging situation in their lives, both corporate and personal. Participants also reported that instead of feeling helpless, they now felt confident about handling challenging situations

As part of the company’s D&I priorities, gender diversity is one of its biggest pushes hence the goal was not just to have more women in the company, but to have more women in managerial roles.

The program has received fulfilling recognition with over 24% of She Leads participants receiving a promotion in their appraisal cycles. The campaign also observed an 8% higher retention rate of the SHE Leads participants than the overall average for women employees, the program is also a testament to their faith in their organization’s investment in them. Going forward the company aims to launch more such initiatives that cater to building women leaders. One such in progress is the ‘Wonder Women’ which champions the women of Future Generali India Life Insurance Company and their inspirational journey of forging a successful career and sharing it with the community. All-in-all both these initiatives work towards empowering women employees at Future Generali India Life Insurance Company.
