Claim Processing
- Our claim specialist will assess the claim.
- In case we require any further information we would call the claimant or intimate via letter.
- Track the status of your claim through “Customer Portal”, once your claim gets registered.
Step 3
Claim Decision
- On receipt of complete documents and verification findings(wherever applicable) we will make the final decision as per the regulatory guidelines and communicate the same to the claimant.
- To ensure speedy payout we transfer the claim proceeds through direct credit to the claimant's account.

List of documents required for Death Claims
- Death Claim Intimation Form
- Scanned Copy of Policy Schedule Page
- Death Certificate
- Claimant’s ID Proof (Copy of PAN, Aadhar or Passport or Driving License)
- Claimant’s PAN Copy (or) Form 60
- Claimant’s Address Proof (Copy of Aadhar or Passport or Driving License)
- Bank Account Proof of Claimant (Cancelled cheque with printed name or passbook copy verified by the branch)
- Claimant’s Photograph
Additional documents required in case of Death in hospital
- Indoor Case Papers
- Discharge / Death summary
Additional documents required in case of Accidental/Suicide/Murder cases
- Post Mortem Report
- Chemical Viscera Report
- First Information Report by Police
- Final Investigation Report by Police
- Panchnama
- Newspaper cutting (if any)

All the documents submitted to us should be in Original or photocopies duly attested by a Gazetted Officer/SEM / Magistrate or a person of local standing/ Sarpanch/ Talathi/ Tahsildar or Police Sub-Inspector or Branch Manager of our company
All medical reports, documents and certification shall be issued by the attending physician and who is qualified to provide such document/certification according to Indian Laws
In addition to the above documents the Company reserves the rights to ask for more documents/information as may be required in consideration of the claim.
Notification of claim, submission of claim forms and/or claim documents to the Company shall not be construed as an admission of liabilities of the Company. No agent is authorized to admit any liabilities on behalf of the Company, or to alter this list of documents or any claim requirements called for by the Company.
Claims Review Committee
It is our endeavour to settle all genuine claims well within the regulatory framework. In case the claimant is not satisfied with the decision of the Company, they may approach our Claims Review Committee.
Independent Claims Review Committee is headed by Retired Justice of Mumbai High Court and senior representatives of Future Generali Life Insurance Management team.

On receipt of the claim intimation, our officials will contact the claimant and facilitate the process of filling the claim form and also share information about all relevant documents required to be submitted for registering the claim.

Every life insurance policy document clearly states the 'Nominee/Beneficiary' in case of a claim. Based on the nature of the policy, the beneficiary can vary.

In order to ensure that the claim settlement process is hassle-free, ensure that:
- You continue to pay the premium on time so that your policy does not lapse.
- Your address and contact details are always updated.
- Your family members are well-informed about the policy and its relevant documents.
- While filling the policy proposal forms, you mention the intended recipient as the nominee. In case of change in nominee, you can approach the nearest branch office.

- KYC of claimant along with cancelled cheque (bearing the name of claimant) or passbook of claimant in case the payment is to be made in name of claimant. Declaration from master policy holder is also required on letter head of master policy holder

Claim may be intimated by the Nominee named in the Policy or any Legal Heir/blood relative of the Life Assured. An agent of Future Generali India Life Insurance can also intimate the Company along with the necessary documentation. However, the agent can do so only after he has been authorized by the nominee or legal heir/blood relative of the Life Assured to do so.
