Niraj Kumar- Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

Niraj has passion of Managing Investments, Creating Wealth & Building business in a dynamic market environment. With more than two decades experience in investment management arena, he has built a strong expertise in diverse fields of Investment management across Equity & Fixed income assets, Credit Risk and Macroeconomic landscape. In his extensive experience of Investment management, he has been imperative in contributing towards significant scaling of portfolio and have garnered industry wide accolades and recognition for organization. As an incumbent “Chief Investment Officer” of Future Generali India Life Insurance, his key goal is to provide strategic Investment direction which would position Future Generali as a front runner in the Indian insurance space. He is an Economics graduate from Delhi University of Delhi and with MBA in Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management. He has also completed an Executive course in Finance from International Centre for Financial Asset Management and Engineering (FAME), Geneva. Prior to Future Generali, he had a 8 year stint with Aviva Life Insurance as Head of Equities & Fund Manager. Prior to working in Insurance, he was working with leading Mutual Fund, UTI MF for 5.5 years in various positions such as Co Fund Manager and Sector Analyst. He is also a recipient of the ICRA Fund Award for the ‘Best Fund Performer’.

Srijan Sinha, CFA : Fund Manager (Equity)

Srijan manages the Equity funds at Future Generali India life insurance company ltd. Over the years, Srijan has developed expertise extensively across sectors including Financials, Auto, IT, Metals & Mining, Pharmaceuticals, Infrastructure etc. His strong analytical skills along with an eye for identifying macro themes for generating alpha and ensuring risk adjusted returns for stakeholders, is what makes him a valuable Fund Manager at Future Generali India life insurance company ltd. He has been instrumental in identifying key winning strategies /themes for growth oriented equity investing. Srijan holds MBA (Finance) degree from Institute for Financial Management & research (IFMR, Chennai) and is a CFA Charter holder (CFA Institute, USA). Prior to joining Future Generali India life insurance company ltd in 2017, he worked with CRISIL GR&A for 3 years, wherein he was involved in Indian Equity research for a UK based Emerging Markets Equity Fund.

Yahya Bookwala : Fund Manager (Fixed Income)

Yahya is an MBA (Finance) from MET, Mumbai and has almost a decade of work experience in the Insurance industry and is responsible for managing Fixed Income funds. He has joined the company in August 2017. Over the years, Yahya has developed expertise in credit analysis & fixed income products. Prior to joining Future Generali India life insurance company ltd, he has worked with Aviva Life Insurance & AEGON Life Insurance.

Sagar Gandhi : AVP – Investment

Sagar is a senior resource of our team and has experience of over 13 years of experience in Indian equities. As a senior analyst here, he contributes to the team via new idea generation (sector agnostic) and has dedicated responsibility for sectors like Capital Goods, Metals & Mining, Infrastructure and Midcaps. Prior to Future Generali India Life insurance Co Ltd, Sagar has worked for over a decade with ICICI Securities Ltd as a senior equity analyst. He is an Engineer plus post-graduate in finance, both from University of Mumbai.

Ketaki Mahajan : Fixed Income Debt Dealer

Ketaki has over 8 years of experience in financial service industry and has joined Future Generali India life insurance company ltd in 2022. She is responsible for debt dealing, cash management and research in debt markets. Prior to this, she has worked with SBI DFHI LTD and AK Capital Services Ltd as a debt dealer. She has completed MBA in Finance and is an alumni of Welingkars Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Sumit Darji: Equity Dealer

Sumit is a commerce graduate (NM College) with MBA - Finance ( Pune University). He specialises in the field of Institutional equity trading and has a total experience of 11 years. Prior to his association with Future Generali India life insurance company ltd May 2021, he has worked with a SHCIL Services Limited and KJMC Capital.

Kairav Shah: Research Analyst

Kairav Shah is a graduate from FLAME University, Pune, where he majored in Finance. Prior to joining Future Generali India life insurance company ltd as a Research Analyst, he has worked with ICICI Bank as an Operation Analyst. Kairav is currently pursuing his CFA. At Future Generali India life insurance company ltd he works closely with the Debt and the Equity Fund managers.
