How it Works

This plan is the simplest form of life insurance. It offers you protection at affordable premiums. There are no Maturity or Surrender Benefits. Here are the steps to get Future Generali Care Plus plan:

Step1Choose your Sum Assured
  • Choose the Classic Option for insurance cover up to Rs. 24,99,999/-
  • Choose the Premier Option for insurance cover of Rs. 25,00,000/- and above.
Step2Decide the duration of the cover and the premium payment mode
  • Choose a Policy Term that meets the demands of your financial plan and covers the financial obligations you carry.
Step3Get a quote and fill out the application form
  • Based on the inputs you provide, you will receive a standard quote for the premium payable.
Step4Pay the premium
  • Fill up the application and pay the premium.


  • Death Benefit In the unfortunate event of the Life Assured passing away, his/ her nominee receives a lump sum amount (referred to as the Sum Assured).
  • Maturity Benefit There is no Maturity Benefits payable under this plan.
  • Surrender Benefit There is no Surrender Benefits payable under this plan.

Suicide Exclusion: If the Life Assured commits suicide within one year from the policy commencement date, the policy will be void and only 80% of the premiums paid will be payable as the Death Benefits. If the Life Assured commits suicide within one year from the revival date of the policy, if revived, 80% of the premiums paid till the date of death, will be payable as Death Benefits.

You have a period of 15 days (30 days if the policy is sold through Distance Marketing Mode) from the date of receipt of the Policy document to review the terms and conditions of the Policy. If you are not satisfied with or disagree with any of the terms and conditions, you have the option to Cancel/withdraw and return the Policy along with a letter (dated and signed) stating your intention to cancel the Policy and reasons for the objections/Cancellation, within this period. Cancellation of Policy and refund of premium is allowed under this provision, whereby the amount payable on such cancellation will be equal to the total premium paid less a proportionate cost of insurance for the period of cover and expenses towards Policy stamp duty and medical examination, if any.
