Rakesh Wadhwa:

How would you advise smaller other organizations to remain vigilant? What can they do differently?

George Day:

Well firstly this is not a big or small company question. We find vigilant organizations can be very small or very large. As can vulnerable organization. So for a small organization it's really a matter of two things exercising curiosity that is by the principles the leader the leadership team. And it's reaching out and connecting in perhaps not working outside of the normal comfort zone. And so we find that the concept of vigilance is not a function of size. It's a function of the leadership team curiosity candour. And by candour I mean are they willing to face up to the message. So I think the experience I've had is that a small organization can actually move much faster and capture an opportunity that's emerging perhaps that a bigger company might see but cannot move as quickly to capture.
