Mr. Niraj Kumar takes charge as Chief Investment Officer of Future Generali India Life Insurance Co. Ltd
March 4, 2021: Mr. Niraj Kumar has assumed charged as Chief Investment Officer at Future Generali India Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (FGILI). Prior to taking over as CIO, he has been Head of Equity / Investment in the Insurance industry since 2010. He has close to 20 years of professional experience in the area of fund management and macroeconomics. Over the years, he has built expertise in the areas of portfolio management across Equity & Fixed income assets, Equity Analysis, Credit Risk and Macroeconomic.
Niraj has been instrumental in significantly improving the quality of the portfolios at FG, redesigning the investment processes, taking exposure in Innovative Market product such as STRIPS, PPD to reduce Interest Rate risk for the company. During the last four years with FG, he has built a good track record for the ULIP funds. He has been instrumental in developing an exhaustive In-house Credit Rating Model for our Portfolio Monitoring. This has helped FGILI in better control on Credit Profile for their Fixed Income Investment and has been instrumental in reducing the risk on their Investment book.
